Some know how to use ADB with ug802

    Some know how to use ADB with ug802

    i did modified the lcs density with the ugfix. and now the framework is not working i need to for the lcd density to lower number. so i need to edit the build.prop file.

    i connect the device to my usb port of my pc and the micro usb of the ug802 but the device is never recognized by the pc?

    is there any way to be able to access the device using adb.

    i was using 2dark4 you rom, but when i try to reflash the device using the update.img file it says that /sd_external/udate.img was not found.

    actually i dont have a usb keyboard so i cant do much.

    need drivers and how to connect make the device be recognized by the notebook.

    By default on this ROM USB debugging is turned off. If you cannot get to the settings menu to turn it on, your stuck. You have to unbrick and reflash the ROM.

      now im doing it by the hard way i have opened the device and did done the shot near the nand chip.

      im now flashing the 1.5c firmware 2 to test.

        Regarding to you rom you can add the following line into the build prop file to enable the adb debug by default.

        persist.service.adb.enable = 1

          You cant add that if your bricked like he was

            I was able to have my ug802 fully recognized as adb device in Windows XP in the following way. I had Finless 1.4 installed and couldn't figure out why it doesn't get fully recognized in ubuntu while udev rules were made right. So I tried windows and copied tools needed for rooting UG802. Then installed and started Moborobo and modified SuperOneClick - but did nothing with these two after that. Then I entered command prompt and "adb devices" command returned something like 1234....... device and after that step it was possible to fully access it via adb. Now that was some time ago as just yesterday I finally and successfully managed to get my ug fully bricked - while trying to flash bob's new ROM in VMWare Windows on Ubuntu. DO NOT DO IT!!! After recognizing device and installing drivers, rebooting to flash mode and erasing nand successfully, I started flashing rom and it returned error never to wake up again. Will try shortening the 2 pads method when I have time, wish me luck!

              Yes RKflash wont work in a VM. The VM cant seem to grab the USB port properly.
