    Q7 (XT-Q7/V-V10 RK3188T) KitKat 4.4.2 Overclock [email protected]/GPU@600mhz **Kernel**

This kernel is for Q7 (XT-Q7/V-V10) Android TV Box RK3188T CPU devices with a KitKat system image. Features:

    - True 1080p output
    - 1.6ghz RK3188T CPU Clock (If anyone could make this 1.8ghz I'd be super happy!
    - 667mhz DDR Clock (If anyone could make this 800mhz for me I'd be so mega happy!!)
    - 600mhz GPU clock
    - 23212 AnTuTu score @ 1080p (CPU Governor set to Performance and at 1608mhz Min/Max)

    _-=kernel.1080p.CPU.1.6ghz.GPU.600mhz.Q7.zip=-_

This is not all my work, I just built on it a bit. Credits go to "mo123" for building the original XT-Q7/V-V10 1.6ghz kernel (I would REALLY like a 1.8ghz/600mhz GPU/800mhz DDR Kernel my friend, if that would be possible I would be forever grateful).

Thanks guys, I am going to start working on a ROM soon.

    *edit*

Wanted to mention, I stream huge MKV files with no issues. 1080p files, 20gb-45gb or so, stream perfectly fine. No issues.

This box is finally worth the money. You will be very satisfied with this Kernel. Q7 doesn't get much better than this.

That firmware is just fine, has the latest bootloader too.

Use this flash tool I have attached. Just drop the kernel.img from the OP in the "Image" directory.

Load the tool, make sure the device is in flash mode (connect microUSB cable to USB OTG port while holding recovery button on bottom with power plugged in) make sure you de-select everything but "kernel.img" and "Parameter" and then flash it (click "run").

This will give you my kernel the easiest way.

You are having a pebkac error.

I extracted my zip file to a new directory and flashed the kernel I provided on one of my XT-Q7V-V10 Q7 Android TV boxes and it worked fine.

You probably need your own parameter file.

Download this firmware image and re-flash, it's the latest for our Q7 boxes and much better than the original firmware I suggested: update

It's December 9th 2014 firmware, better than our July 8th firmware for sure.

After flashing this ROM try flashing the kernel again, just the kernel. If it doesn't work for you and you do know how to properly flash a kernel, then you don't have an XT-Q7V-V10 Q7.

I was unable to get nexxusty kernel working either.

I can confirm my model hardware is the XT-Q7V-V10 .

I flashed the new official 20141209 ROM, and it worked fine, quite fast.

I then used Finless ROM Tool 1.3.7, and flashed the 1080p kernel and my original parameter file (kernel @ 0x4000).

All I get is the red LED button, and it won't turn on.

Has anyone got this to work?

All I get is a screen at bootup showing a dead android robot with his tummy open and guts missing.

Used 12-09-2014 firmware + my own Parameter.txt file.

                            Hi,
I just upgraded my firmware to 20141209 and I want to try your kernel,
I am kind of worried if something fail how I'll go back to stock 20141209? (I need the old kernel or I should flash the 20141209 Rom?),
are you still using this kernel are things stable?
                            ThanX in advance (I have a XT-q7V-v10)

I have an XT-Q7V-V10 and I can confirm that this kernel does NOT work. DO NOT TRY otherwise your device won't boot.
