I bet the system.img will work with XT-Q7/V-V10. Trying now.

No it doesn't. Only wasser firmware runs on this device with 1080p, but in cost of wifi, bluetooth and remote which doesn't work. Stock firmware is the only which works quite good at this time (but not perfect - I notice sometimes apps crash and other issues). Hope someone do 1080p firmware for XT-Q7-V11

There is/was little to no information on this device so I did some testing and managed to get 1080p working on the desktop & xbmc or 720p on the desktop and xnmc in 1080p (best settings combo IMO as this device has a very weak GPU & the Android interface is too much for it at 1080p. Xbmc works great in 1080p, even 20GB MKV works well).

I'm a busy man so I can't write a tutorial as I said I would but if you guys would like I could make a flashable backup of a 720p image & a 1080p one as well. Latest Dec 09 firmware, rooted by me as well.

mind sharing which CWM you're running? the Q7 CWM taken off the main page doesnt work for me (unable to mount anything)... and androtab's generic leaves a blank screen.

CWM? Absolutely not. TWRP man, I only use TWRP on all my Android devices and so should you.

It's here in this forum, if you can't find it I'll upload it when I get time.

If I was to make a backup it would not be usable with TWRP. Only Android Tool 2.1.

You are wrong. With your kernel this device doesn't even boot. We discuss here about XT-Q7-V11, not X7-Q7V-V10, check the title. I dumped stock kernel from my device, but I'm unable to modify it to 1080p. Peace.

Although this thread is about the XT-Q7-V11, I wasn't able to get this kernel working with XT-Q7-V10 either, as written here. I won't write anymore about it in this thread as I'm not using a V11. Just wanted to say that the issue of getting it working may not be a V10 vs V11 thing.
