I wrote to Rikomagic and I get original firmware from 31 Oct 2012 for MK802 III
It should works on UG802 (this same RK3066 chip).

I did try install it directly into ug802 and the installer does not allows you.


so probably un packing and re packing it will be the solution.

HI ,guys, I have got the ugoos UG007 sample, and do some test, here is some reviews:

So i think now i can ask them to give me the firmware for the JB and then we can try to flash to the UG802.

and for the audio sync problem on UG007, i did a test according to this instruction:

Cool.... I will look at this today and see how it works on the ug802.

you will not be able to update.img to ug802. You must use the flash tool RKBatchtool to flash the update.img. This is because update.img and update script do not match model.

Update.zip is not a Rockchip thing like other devices. It looks for update.img not .zip.

I doubt they would release a update.zip so try unzipping it.

the file is a RAR

then when you un pack you get the update.zip and if you unpack that you get the standard patch rom. like the ones used with WCM.

You mean ClockWork Mod?
No one has clockwork without special ROM. So if it is update.img, you either flash it with RKBatch Tool or put it on SDcard and RKupdater will install it.

How to update this through rktools? Its not the same as you update finless rom. The update. Zip has different files.
