MX3 won't boot ... keep steady RED light and no BLUE light is ON ...

My MX3 box cannot pass the red light when I plug power into the wall and use toothpic to reset and redo the image to make it go back to the manufactory mode which is Android TV . Now it stuck at the red light and won't go to Blue light .

My question is my android box is dead 100% at this point , right ??? Is there a fix workaround to make it bypass red light , goes into blue light and reapply its image back so I can watch TV ???

Thanks alot for all your help ,

    try a different power supply.
2 out of my 3 mx3 boxes had power supply failure in less than a week.
first box failed exactly as you describe.
also, bad power supply caused wifi to intermittantly drop network.

all 3 boxes working perfectly with different power supply's running 110k4 rom

    good luck

That is the identical power adapter as my 2 bad ones.

        Just poor quality I guess.

After I swapped out, all problems were solved.

btw... i found a power supply from a old usb hub i had was 5v and 2500mah

will this power supply has enough juice or overkill MX3 ???

I just found this AC / DC adaptor ... output is 6V DC 2100mA compare with the current MX3 is output :5V 2000mA !!!

          Will 1V make a different in killing the MX3 if I use the 6V 2100mA ???

Thanks for your big helps ,

I wouldn't recommend higher voltage. Even though it is only 1 volt, it could fry the box.

Higher current rating is fine - actually better if you plan on hooking up anything to the USB ports.
