Low Mic Gain?
Since putting RileyRomv1.6 on my Pipo p9 i noticed exceptionally low mic gain. 'Ok Google' can just about detect if I shout directly into the top of the mic. its clear, but incredibly low.
Really important as this was purchased for the mother in law to keep in Skype contact.
I've done a generic search and found that root access to /system/etc finds ini files that set such things on bootup. But I found 3 or so files that mention audio settings, and before I ruin it I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.
I did try ADB drivers, and Android commander, but it didnt detect a device over usb, so I've gone to ES File manager and successfully edited ini files.. so I'm sure im in the right area.
any pointers?
PS: was bought as a Wifi only model, there is no simcard slot i can see, but even though its got RileyRomv1.6 wifi only Rom, i'm still seeing a power drain from cell modem, and generally mention in the OS that it has phone features and data.. is this normal?
