    [Pipo P1] Bricked tablet ?

    Hello,

Trying to solve my black screen problem...
Make an downgrade with the RKbatchtool with a old rom for pipo p1 (20140819)
Pink button, switch -> green button -> upgrade and then...
Error after idb flashmode and red message...
Now, I can't restart the tablet.
Is the tablet definitively dead ? It was a christmas gift for my son...
    Thanks.

The error you are reporting is typical of a USB connection problem.

    Or a NAND flash problem.

You can rule out the USB problem by trying a different port...different cable (use the one that came with the tablet). Don't use a USB 3.0 port on your PC...3.0 isn't compatible with the drivers.

If those things still don't work, you will need to remove the back and put your tablet in Mask Mode by shorting two pins on the NAND chip while connected to the PC. There is a thread in the main Pipo section that explains the unbricking procedure in more detail.

Did you try resetting the device via the reset pinhole on the back, just under the camera lens. It worked for me.
