Touchscreen on Pipo M9 Pro upside down after replacing.

So I had to replace the touchscreen on my mom's tablet after she dropped it's corner and left it with a few big cracks. Now after booting it up and at first seeing how nice it looked to be whole again I find that it's not touching where I am trying to touch. I quickly come to find that it's as if the touchscreen were upside down. With the power and reset buttons on top, I try and touch the top, it's touching something on the bottom, left and right it seems fine.

I ran across a thread (http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...en-not-working) that had the same problem but it was on a Pipo M9, not Pro, and he installed RileyRom 2.3 and it fixed it. I was on some KitKat firmware from another forum but found on here how to downgrade back to JB. Installed RileyRom 2.1, RileyRom 2.5.2, RileyRom 3.4 (back to KitKat) and had the same problem all the way across.

I thought there would be some screen calibration app somewhere but haven't found anything so far to fix this.

I'm finding that I'm not the only one having this problem when replacing the digitizer. It appears that they are selling this same touch screen model for the M9 Max, M9 Pro, and regular M9. Don't know what else to try.

I have the same problem, and don't now what else to try. I know there is a fix for the m9 Max version with a modified kernel. Is there a way Riley can modify a kernel for our version? I am currently using 3.01 version, none of the versions I have tried have worked so far, and If I use the kernel of the m9 max I brick the tablet.

Thanks for the reply. I actually tried an M7 kernel earlier that someone had modified to flip the y axis on and put it in RileyRom 3.0.1 but also bricked it. So went back to "stock" RileyRom 3.0.1 and continued looking. I was actually planning on trying M9 firmware and M9 Max firmware tomorrow, but guess you already gave me the answer I'd come to for the M9 Max firmware. I wonder why there isn't an app for this, to optimize and modify the touch screen.

Edit: Started looking for a replacement digitizer that actually has 300-L4598B-AOO V1 on it but can't even find it available anywhere. Seems they are just labeling this other model F-WGJ10136-V1 as compatible with all variations of the M9, which it's obviously not.

I have the same digitizer version you have, and I didn't find it available either... The only thing I have left to try is to contact Pipo for a replacement, but I prefer not to spend more money with this and to find a software solution. I'll keep you updated if I get something

In the development section I'm trying to get a custom kernel tested and working. If I do I *may* be able to help with a tweak fro your digitizer.

Firstly post me a DMESG from your current ROM, then flash my kernel and (if it boots) send me the DMESG from it.

Well, my mom asked me to put the broken digitizer back on it so she could use it, lol. Would getting the DMESG still work like that? or do I need to put back the upside down one?

No. Get me the DMESG with new digitizer and then test the dev kernels and support my development - I don't have an M9Pro so I'm working 'blind'

DMESG requires the tablet to be rooted and then you use adb to pull the DMESG

Well, we've been testing kernels over on this other thread: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...o-kernel/page3 Nothing to flip it yet, just making other mods to it I guess, I'm just testing them so I don't know.

hey there. this is a problem : change the sensor on pipo m 9 pro + 3g 32 gb touchscreen . New touch works in mirror image. As I understand not send the touchscreen and standard firmware does not help . Also upload photos of the new touchscreen . Waiting for specialist assistance

привет всем. такая проблемма: поменял сенсор на pipo m 9 pro +3g 32 gb тачскрин. Новый тач работает в зеркальном отражении. Как я понимаю Прислали не тот тачскрин и стандартные прошивки не помогают. Также выкладываю Фото нового тачскрина. Жду помощи специалистов
