That's a pretty big except for me right now. I've seen the video and I tried everything up to mounting the virtual disk. Guess what? Virtual disk doesn't work for some reason. That could take a long time to figure out. So I reached out to Finless for a tiny mod to his 1.12b ROM. At this point it is worth a few hundred $$ to get a version with a few tweaks.

BTW, for everyone... The 4k output and playback from the Tronsmart Draco AW80 is spectacular and big visible difference as compared to HD resolution output. Those extra 6 million dots of detail are clearly visible to me and native as opposed to scaled 4k is also visibly superior. Unless you enjoy looking at things through a screen door, you are going to want to step up to 4k because that's what it feels like seeing the difference. I'm more than amazed. Especially for monitors around 40" in size.

Testing has not yet shown the heat factor yet.

I will reply. Yes he uses a 4K TV and he shot his own 4K content using a camera that can shoot 4K.

I helped him with his ROM and have to say the footage he shot looked fantastic!

YouTube has some 4k content now. GoPro now has a 4k camera as does Panasonic Lumix GH4 which is a remarkable, remarkable camera for the price. I do have a 4k TV and there are many 4k TVs coming to market now at very reasonable prices.

going from HD to 4k would be upscaling, HD to 4k would be downsampling (I'm sure you know that, but I included this note for clarity for others reading).

4k is definitely worth the investment and the Tronsmart Draco AW80 with Finless ROM works for me. Don't waste money on the AW80 Telos - there's no improvement with additional RAM and the OS doesn't even seem to be able to utilize it! Maybe Bob will have some insight into that I hope!

I tried the latest Tronsmart firmware and for me the Finless Rom works the same, actually better with the SD buffer tweak Bob did for me and some mods to the Build.prop to increase dalvik.vm.heapsize (which wouldn't be good for everyone).
