R28 - Increase space for apps (link2sd)

The built in feature of the R28 that moves apps to internal_SD is very limited, in practice, only few apps can be moved.

I'm trying to make link2sd work. To do so, one must create two partitions of an external SD card, one Ext2 (512mb-2.5GB) and one Fat32 large partition. I did that with partition wizard. I also made sure that "recreate mount scripts" and then rebooted without error.
So everything seemed to work fine BUT, the apps won't move, says "insufficiant storage". When i look in link2sd menu under "storage info" i see the "sd card 2nd part 99% free"

So, Did anyone mange to make it work? any other solutions?

Thanks, but i'm looking for a way that doesn't include flashing. Otherwise I can use the finless ROM and choose a different partition size.
I figured since the R28 comes with root and SU pre-installed, there must e a way to do increase app space more easily and more safely.
