M8 box problems

Hi guys I'm a noob so bear with me..I just recently bought a M8 box of **** and it came with xmbc and tons of ore apps pre loaded. But since I've had it all the time I'm trying to watch a football streaming it buffers badly even though I've got superfast broadand. It also cuts the stream and go bak to the main m8 screen not even the xbmc screen. Is their some settings I need to tweet to get the streaming to be steady. Also when I power the box off it randomly switches on now and again and then off again..ones again is their someting I can do to fix these issues and last but not least I have the touch air keyboard that comes with it but it's very tempermental. It no more than 3 meters away when I try to use it but the responce is very poor is there any that works better. Thanks for any help I can get and happy new year to you all

I would try installing a custom rom on your box. They are miles better than whatever these boxes have on them from the factory. Personally I prefer JustMe rom. Finless ROM is also good although development on that rom has stopped quite a while ago. You'll also be doing your box a favour as you will be clearing all that useless pre-installed stuff you have on XBMC, apart from the fact that these roms fix a lot of problems never tackled by the manufacturer. Once on a clean install, you can choose the best and most useful plugins.

Regarding your power on/off it is a known problem with these boxes. I'm using JustMe 1.6 and this issue seems to have been fixed for good.

Regarding your keyboard, I solved the same problem by buying a small 10cm USB extension and pointing the receiver forward. Since it is at the back of the box I used to have issues using the keyboard. Now works perfectly even from far away.

make sure it's compatible with your box. JustMe rom's work great on the M8.
