Stock player just can't play any *.mkv files contents DTS, MXPlayer can't play as well. I doubt the latest firmware kernel/resource having problem with MXPlayer and DTS playback, any way to patch kernel from Nov, but not latest Dec Kernel to this rom?

Just use stock Player to play any movie content DTS, it wont play at all.
MXPlayer can't use in this rom.
I am mainly using MXPlayer for movies.

The new stock rom for this box plays well on the mk902ii and nice launcher as well they took some time on that release.

I combined the two firmware:
TV01II_0916-T032_AP6330_public_20140910 and HPH_RK3288_ROM_v1.4_mo123 from this thread.

What came out I invite You to test.
I've put a new loader: RK3288Loader_uboot_V2.17.02.bin (useful to boot Linux from SD)
WIFI works great (40-50Mbit/s) ... thanks mo123 for tweaks.
YouTube in 1080p - delicious
ANTUTU v5.5 about 37000.
SPMC works great.
One partition for installation.
Remote works.

Hello, I have stupid question but, can I use this update.zip for ROOT original ROM or it works only with this ROM? I have Minix X7 and there is special update.zip for each version, it is reason why I am asking.

Im afraid to flash my TV01II. What tool do you use? This one update.zip file contain everything I need?

Oman at arch tab made some nice roms for 3288 I tried switching out to one if his and bricked it hard yesterday back up after opening Box and shorting trying to see what I did wrong again lol.

Yes update.zip contain everything.
You need only AndroidTool v2.3 to flash it.

You have to find on your PCB pins for MASK mode.

I have a Rikomagic 902II box and i have run with mo123s software before - but i tried to flash this one, and i have a freeze / lag ever 30sec or so..

Anyway to fix this?? it start when the device is turned on and keeps this freeze even in apps and menu..

Oops I had issues minor ones with this one it will run but the new stock rom works good 38000 in antutu plush there are oc kernels out from Eric and d33 that also work with this firmware.
