How to get tablet-optimized UI of iMediashare on MK808?

    How to get tablet-optimized UI of iMediashare on MK808?

    I love iMediashare because it is the only app (as far as I know) which streams CBS and CNet Video in HD.

    On my uHost android stick, iMediashare and Vimeo app display tablet-optimized UI (multipane boxes); but both apps display Mobile phone UI (single-pane UI) on my MK808 android stick. My uHost runs ICS and MK808 runs JB.

    How can I tweak my rooted MK808 to display tablet-optimized UI for those apps which provide such UI?

      If I had any CLUE as to this and why.... I would do it. I do see some APPs I use seem to be LARGE FONTS for a phone. I myself have not figured out why this is. Might be the APP developer did NOT put in all the resources needed for many devices or something?

      If you find info on this, I would be glad to cook it for you.

        Thanks Bob. Is it possibly due to different resolution? uHost resolution is 1280x720, but MK808 is 1280x6xx. I don't know why MK808 resolution is not 1280x720 which is pretty standard for HD.

        I ask iMediashare how they decide which UI to display on each device; but they don't share this information.

          Have you tried backing up the app and data on the device that displays the way you prefer (using titanium backup or similar) and "restoring" it on to your MK808 rather than installing it through the Play Store?

            iMediaShare recognizes as a mobile phone, strange...
            Will be some setting in build.prop solve?
            Resolution is true 1280x720. The 1280x673 because the status bar does not count in AnTuTu.

              Just got mk802+ today running stock ics 4.0.4, iMediashare and Vimeo display tablet UI too. What's wrong with mk808?
