next book touch screen not working

i have a next book Premium 8 and the switch broke inside so i opened it up and fixed it , it came on but the touch screen wont work I can't put in pass work or anything, when I opened it the things on the side that had black tape on it came off I put it back but still nothing is there anything I can do???

Just a guess, but it sounds like you have disconnected or damaged the touch digitizer...

Touch screens commonly have 3 parts... some type of display screen, with a touch digitizer on top of it, then a some sort of protective cover...
