    USB input "sticking"

    I have a tronsmart R28 Meta that I've been playing with for a few days. I understand it is the same guts as the beelink R89.
    I've tried a few firmwares and am currently testing the latest UGOOS dual-boot ROM - which is super cool to dual boot Xubuntu on my box with such amazing boot times.

    I'm running mythTV (0.27) frontend plug-in using the latest Kodi Helix and it works awesomely. No studders or crashes with playback of raw MPEG (live TV) or recorded TV - and I have not yet had to use the init.d fix.

    I have only one major complaint with my device... Two different wireless keyboards and a wired USB controller all exhibit the issue on every firmware I've tried so far. I'll be typing on a keyboard and the number "sticks" and repeats until a new input is registered. Same thing with the game pad. I'll be navigating menus in asphalt 8 and randomly my key press rapidly advances menus.

    This occurred both using mo123's firmware and the ugoos firmware. I tried alternate USB slots, etc... to no avail.

    Does anyone know of a fix for this, or has anyone else experienced it?

    Thanks!

    Try to use the OTG port for the input-devices...

      <SOLVED>

      Thanks, no_spam! I tried my tablet OTG cable - and it actually worked! No repeated characters. Sad that it makes a difference...

      So I will have to order another OTG cable along with a 5V ~.1A 40mm fan...

      I've seen CPU temps around 90C after some sessions of Riptide 2... A simple USB desk fan blowing minimal air keeps it around 50C after drilling some holes above the heat sink. Seems like a no-brainer mod for reliability just to fix a simple fan on the unit.
