After having the box now for over a week I finally got it to playback HD without shimmering (slow mo effect Judder) the best xbmc version so far is TV Addons version which I believe is 13.2 Gotham & ultimate xbmc, ,standalone Gotham I get playback problems, streaming i player,mash-up, iTunes trailers are fine but using ice-films seems to hang the unit ,I have not tried Dolby/ DTS yet as it has taken a lot of time to get this far.

I've tried TVaddons.ag version of XBMC (13.2) on serveral diferent devices. Did not even display video on my G-Box Q (the new GQ Box). Their original XBMCAndroid (XBMC for rookies) worked well but as renamed entity TVADDONS their XBMC work is poor. Fortunately, Matricom has updates for their (KODI 14.0) & their Laucher @ Google playstore. With the updates their new Q Box is dynamite! You just need to get remote mini keyboard/flymouse eleswhre.

Finally working with no stutter & HDMI pass through
After trying the new version of spmc 13.4 & correcting mis config I had put in the box is now working correctly fast loading best video I have seen so far on a box ,if the final firmware is going to make this an even better unit it's a winner !
