    RC12 Fly Mouse and MK808

Had my MK808 few days now impressed so far. However I got one annoying buy I find using the keyboard on the RC12 Fly mouse a pain, when typing I keep getting repeated keystrokes eg instead of typing "A" i get "AA" or sometimes "AAAAA".

I have had a search but no luck, is there a way of solving this?

    Any tips?
Anyone else have same problems with RC12?

Try a better power supply! One of my tablets did this until I used a better supply.

"Pzebacz im, bo nie wiedzą, co czynią"
"Прости им, они не ведают, что творят"
"Perdona loro perché non sanno quello che fanno"
"Vergib ihnen, denn sie wissen nicht, was sie tun"
"Vergeef hen want ze weten niet wat ze doen"
"Pardonne-leur car ils ne savent pas ce qu'ils font"
"Perdónalos porque no saben que lo que hacen"
"Oprosti im, jer ne znaju što čine"
"Forgive them as they know not what they do"

        hi,

i too just received this combo yesterday. what i have noticed is that the RC12 has sticky keys as well. the keys sometimes remain stuck after press.

my unit came with 5V 2 Amp power adapter, which seems to be working well. i havent had the chance to test extensively.

my firmware is dated 27 oct... so is this the firmware on which Finless 1.5A is based upon??

RC12 seems to be the wrong choice, navigating using the touchpad is alright but if you want to drag something or scroll.. OMG it is difficult.

should have got the RC11 or Mele F10...

A question about the power supply:

I am using the USB-port (service port) to the TV as power supply. Is that enough with power for the MK808?
Pretty smooth starting and shuting down the MK808 using the power from the TV, but does is get enough with power?

I've recently purchased Rii Mini I6 wireless keyboard on ****. I've had same symptoms as yours RC12.
During some physical testing I've found out that this issue of multiple "aaaaa" and other letters was mostly appearing due to big distance from receiver. When i was holding keyboard very close to receiver i have never had such issue, but as soon as i moved away to about 2.5-3 meters, then it started to appear. Next issue was that keyboard's antenna which is sending signal was located near touchpad (right upper corner) and was covered by my finger most of the time. Therefore signal was interrupted partly by my finger.
My keyboard's specs were telling that working range is 3 meters. And that was matching with real performance. Your's RC12 specification tells, that working distance is 30 meters, which i hardly believe, because both mine and your's are "China cheapo" keyboards and most probably use same chips and solution except design.
I have sent the keyboard back to seller and purchased Mele F10. Let's see how it will work

I guess if you don't want "surprises from China", you should invest into known manufacturers like Logitech.
