Anyone else's MXQ S85 power supplies fail?

Bought two of these things in November, one plug failed within a week and the second failed last week. 2 for 2 seems pretty bad. I've contacted GearBest support for replacements, just curious how common these failures are.

Yep.. mine broke after a week usage..
-and not the normale way.. it hat power to bring-up the blue-light, but not enough to boot the system..after it broke

I did not ask for a replacement.. because its a well known problem (with CH units.. sadly)

    Cheers

Same, it will bootloop the googletv logo indefinitely.

Any idea where I can get replacements if GearBest support falls through?

2 out of 3 failures here.

One flaked out during boot - never passing boot logo.
Another just died with enough to light the power but never boot.

Replaced all 3 with some generic supplies from fe****.

          plug: 5.5mm x 2.1mm

          No power issues since.

Mine MXQ S85 looks now died itself! Tested PS looks working and I also bought another one (working, from a physical store chain in Italy), no joy! No light, nothing at all. Bought the device from Gearbest.com , took more than a month to arrive, 10 days ago!

Edit: left the box connected with the original AC PS and it booted itself after maybe half an hour. Everything solved. Dunno what happened though!

Is it the the plug or adaptor failed?

Have a box en route and would like to be ready to get problem fixes.

The factory power supply is poor quality - at least the ones maufactured for the US.

My supply was the same as here:
