Gentlemen:
It's a pleasure and a privilege to be able to contribute to Freaktab and to benefit from the accumulated wisdom and expertise represented here. Back before Freaktab was restructured, I worked my way up from new to junior to senior member, participating in a fair number of those early developments which gave life and energy to this forum. As my knowledge base grew, I contributed ideas, solutions and funds to several developers. Then, as now, I lent practical support - where I was qualified to - to members encountering technical difficulties, staying the course with them till a solution materialized.
After the restructuring, for reasons not quite clear to me, I found myself demoted to "junior nerd"...an interesting designation that I have no quarrel with except that it's inaccurate. It's true there was a break in my participation in this forum when I fell ill. It's true that I usually limit my posts to constructive comments, firmware projects and technical support to individual members and thus may not, in terms of quantity, have a big footprint. It's true I don't push vendor products or go out of my way to say nice (or bad) things about particular resellers or manufacturers. And it's true that - unlike some prominent members - I don't grandstand in threads merely to push my post tally up regardless of whether I'm actually saying anything useful at all.
I will continue to make my contributions in the manner I always have, and which I've described above. In the end, one's standing with one's peers is a matter of substance, not title. Perhaps the record will show that.

Hello Zahir,
I see, you have contributed a lot on FreakTab.com and I understand you feel demoted, but our title system is meant to be as a little promotion for the FreakTab Members.
This is our system in detail.:
up to 30 posts Junior Member, up to 100 Member, up to 500 Senior Member, up to 750 Junior Nerd, up to 1000 Nerd and finally over 1000 Senior Nerd.
As you can see the word Nerd means more contribution than senior member and you start as Junior Nerd.
In case you really don't like it, I can make an exception for you set you back to senior member manually.

Thanks for the encouragement, Scooter, and thanks too, JD, for the explanation of your system. I surmised that this was a numbers game, and I've expressed myself on that aspect previously. Regardless of what I think about that approach, I will abide by it.
To be called 'junior' anything at the age of 66 may be construed as a mark of faith in my longevity...
