I bought my own U30GT-M from hongkongeek.
It was perfect, good price, no border fees (they refund the border fees in case of you have to pay).
My U30GT-M is rooted with the rooted rom of this forum. Many thanks for that to forum team.

Oups Why to be so agressive piccolo08. I only spoke about my own experience. I hadn't to pay custom fees (lucky), I know if customs requested me some fees I had to pay (I allready paid custom fees because it's not my first order in china or outside europe) BUT, hongkongeek says they refund you in case of you have to pay. This happened to one of my friends and he received via Paypal a refund for custom fees from hongkongeek. I don't know if everybody likes this website, for myself I didn't have any problem with it but I ordered 2 times only with it.

You need my Jelly Bean ROM kit, if you've not downloaded it yet then you will have to wait until your internet is back on line.

In that case you should be able to unzip it, get the drivers installed and flash away.

by unzip do you mean i should be left with a folder or a stack of 3 books?

should the cube be on or off when flashing

You need to put it into flash mode, from off hold vol+ press power for 5 seconds, release power then release vol +. screen should be black. If you connect to then PC then it should be detected.

What should it change to in rom flash tool.? do the drivers get installed in flash mode?
