[Pipo P8] battery discharges to 0% when switched off

    Hello,
Pipo P8 is my first tablet. I have battery issues from the beggining. First - charging use to took 15-24 hours. After discharging to 0%, charging time went down to 4-6 hours - so it's OK.
Now - battery drains out by itself. I've charged tablet to 100%, SWITCHED IT OFF and after 8-10 hours battery is empty - 0%.
Is this normal with this tablet or it's faulty? I haven't done any modifications to ROM etc. - don't know how to do it.
I could send it back to chinese seller, but then I'll loose +-50 USD on import charges.
    Any help?

sorry for my (not very good) English - I'm not a native speaker

    Hello,
I see there is no answer to your question. I have the same problem. Becouse of hudge battery drain with PIPO P8 in stand by mode I start to turning off the tablet after work. But over 10 hours the battery is at 0%. But not allways. Only occasionally. I have found out that the speaker makes weak noise when it is in stand by mode. I thing that it drains battery. I am going to replace original firmware 4.4.4 with custom ROM, that were mentioned somehere on the forum on this site. If it helps, I leave a message.

If you found the solution of quick battery draining, please leave a feedback.

I also suffer from battery drain

I burned the Riley Rom 1.6 in the PiPo ROMs section, but this doesn't help.

Battery down to 23% at the end of the day, with 3 minutes "On time"

And the screen was responsible for 43% of the power consumption.

I think I found a fix for the battery drain during standby

I put the tablet in airplane mode, then I turn on the Wi-Fi.
This turns off the 3G capabilities of the tablet.
I tried taking out the 3G modem before doing this, and it didn't help.
