MK808B Wifi issue

Hi

I have this MK808B android tv box bought from **** (the one that says "MINITV for Android Dual-Core A9 Processor"). I have been trying to connect this device to wifi but it doesnt get connected at all. It recognizes my wifi router and once i enter the wifi password and click on connect nothing happens, it just says "Saved" sometimes and sometimes it says "Authenticatin" but nothing happens. Is there anyone else facing the same issue with this device?

Does your router use WEP security or WPA PSK? Stick will not connect to WEP.

I'm on WPA. i tried removing security to check if it works but it didn't work.

However, i played around with my router, i changed the channel to 11 and set it to 802.11n only. The Android tv box showed its connected to wifi this time but no page opened in the browser. Strange.
