    MX3 S802?

I guess I'm in the right place. I just bought a MX3 from China
    • CPU: Amlogic S802, Quad Core Cortex A9
    • GPU: Mali450
    • RAM: 1GB DDR3
    • ROM: 8GB
    • WiFi: WiFi 802.11b/g/n
    • Nand Flash: 8GB
    • OS: Android 4.4 KitKat
    • Storage External: Support SD Card up to 32GB
    • Remote: Included
    • Power Device: 5V/2A

When I open and look at the board I don't see S802 or maybe it cover by that heatseat.
    The board said Netxeon M82_V3.1_20140923
    4 Chip: Samsung 443, K4B2G1646Q-BCKO, EGH769K
    Chip: AP6181 TOE4002 1416
    Chip: RICOH RNT618M 426BNZ

Is it okay to flash Finless 2.1 ROM?

    It's covered by that heatsink...
I will move your thread to the right sub-forum, but becuase of 1GB ram you can't use the rom's for the round ones... so it's NOT ok to flash finless 2.1

Please link me to the right ROM. I'm confused with all the MX3. There are so many but not sure which is for my box. Is oman fw work for me? http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...eedback-thread

        rtl8188 vs. AP6181

hmmm, I don't know if the 112k4 will also support the wifi-chip rtl8188 which was used at the first generation of the MXIII 1GB devices and I don't know which chip is use at your MXIII 1GB... later they use the AP6181 which is list by oman at the 112k4...
I think you should ask it oman at that fw-link...

Also I don't know if the 111k4 is also an all-in-one rom (not clear described by oman at the fw-thread), if yes, then the finless 2.1 bases on the 111k4 should also works at your MXIII 1GB (maybe also ask this oman at the fw-thread)...

If you look more closely to your Specs you'd note that you had in fact the new(er)... AP-6181 version Unfortunately it seems that this crappy Chip craps out at about 65Mbps.. The Ethernet Port is capable of doing a 100Mbs and, is generally better for streaming HD Content off XBMC, IMHO.
