Beelink R89 and WD N900 Central - Home Network Solution

I have been working at trying to get SPMC working on my new Beelink R89 with reasonable response to a media (video/music/photo) collection that I have on a WD N900 Central with no luck for over a week. It seems that there is no way to optimize SMB even with an Ethernet connection to do this job. I finally switched to FTP on the N900 Central and set up FTP access on SPMC and voila..everything works 100%!!!!!!!

I am so happy with this configuration that I have to share with anyone else that may be struggling with the same issue......

I have 2 Tb - 3 partitions HDD in NTFS format attached to Beelink R89. Samba server is working excellent. Just download SAMBADROID apk from google play, set sharing folder and set auto boot option. On pc-s i use vlc player to play files. On smartphones and tablet i access them via EsExplorer and play with MxPlayer.
