Searching for android stick that outputs true 1:1 1080p in desktop and video mode.

Hello i am searching for any android stick that can output true 1:1 1080p desktop and also true 1080p 1:1 pixel mode in video playback.

The UG802 and MK808 all fail at this simple task instead resorting to outputting 1080p signal where they have internally scaled the 720p desktop upto 1080p through bilinear filtering. The same for video if you have 1080p video it will first downscale to 720p and upscale from 720p to 1080p. This is complete madness and ruins the picture quality.

Just look at the transformer prime or nexus 10 they are easily able to output beyond 1080p in 1:1 pixel mode.

The 1:1 pixel sharpness is important to me. Also the playback is not as smooth as it can be.

Yes it's false marketing to claim 1080p when it is not outputting true 1080p without upscale. I think the hardware is definately capable of this but i think Rockchip has not bothered to make good kernel or drivers for the RK3006 chipset which is really sad.

I think with perfect kernel/drivers and a 1gbit/s ethernet port this could become the ultimate android stick.

        Yes it can

The RK3066 has an internal scaler for the HDMI output, you can set xscale and yscale to 100 to get 1:1 output at 1920x1080@60Hz. It's a kernel option but actually you can control it through /sys/class/display/HDMI.

Great do you know the actual command line to do this? or is it a textfile?
