U19GT problems with ROM

Can anyone help direct me to an answer....
I flashed my U19gt with v1.09 and it is all in Chinese.
Obviously, I can't read it.
Is there any way to flash the rom so it's in English? I've tried setting the Flash utility to English, but no dice.
Or is there a way to change it in the Cube without having to read Chinese?
