    MXiii 111k4 stock firmware

    Hi all

Im a noob to the forum so apologies in advance.

I recently flashed by 2gb MXiii with the Finless 2.1 ROM but still have issues and would therefore like to flash the stock 111k4 firmware as the box came with 110k4 firmware.

I cannot seem to locate the correct firmware. I saw a thread for a 112k4 firmware but am unsure of this.

Can you please provide me a link to the 111k4 firmware.

Also does anyone experience the following issue within XBMC.

you select a HD source for a tv show (e.g Sopranos) and it starts to play and buffers instantly. You wait a few seconds and it pauses, you press play and it plays for a few seconds and then buffers again, pauses etc... It gets to the point where the HD source is unwatchable and I have to switch to a SD source. I run the same test on a raspberry pi running openelec and it works perfectly on hardware that is much inferior?

    Thanks in advance

    Bart

      thanks for that

i wanted to install the stock 111k4 rom as will be sending the box back and currently has finless 2.1 on it.

I tried to flash with the 112k4 rom yesterday but couldnt get it to flash.

I downloaded the files from the first link

copied the 3 required files to the sd card - i assume the sd does NOT need to be blank, the files just need to be on the root is that right?

put teh sd card in the box when it was powered down
put a matchstick in the av hole and waited for the click
turned the box on, then released the matchstick.

it didnt even try to flash instead just went straight into the finless rom

Try booting TWRP from SD, then installed the stock 112k4 when in twrp..

I had the problem of not been able to get into recovery, the boot from SD method worked a charm

I havent used bobs firmware, not sure whats different with his and Stock.

Unzip the TWRP zip from the TWRP page http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...630#post271630, choose the correct one for you, im on 112k4 and the 109k4 worked for me. Once unzipped, find the file Recovery.img and place that onto your SD card along with the TWRP zip file you downloaded, your sd card should have: Recovery.img and TWRP_s82b.zip, Power off the box, i unplug the unit, toothpick into av and keep button pressed, powerback to box and power on, your box should now boot into TWRP from SD, from there if boot successful flash the zip file for permanent TWRP recovery. Hope this helps.

When preparing the sd card do I need to have the fw I want to flash to as well.

Therefore I was on stock 110 flashed to bobs 111 and want to flash to 112

So in the sd card should I put the TWRP files along with the 112 zip file

When in TWRP will it allow me to choose which file I want to flash to
