MK809III MTK Stock ROM Flash Help Needed

Hey Guys,

Another user kindly posted a link to a stock ROM for my device. This I a .img file.

Please can somebody advise how I flash this file to my device. Previously I have only used Neomodes flash tool.

I am also on the understanding the .img file also contains the stock kernel. Is this correct?

You'll need the RK Batch Tool, there is a 1.6, 1.7, 1.8 and now I think a 2.3 version. The 1.6 is probably best, you just hook the device into the tv and the computer with drivers installed, disable USB debugging and enable connect to PC. Once connected as media storage, hit the switch button, and you'll be in flash mode, load the ROM at the top, and click "upgrade" or "restore" and it will flash all the boot kernel system recovery etc.
