I have a Slightly Different MK808 (Inside)

Hey Guys,

Thought I'd share this:

So I opened the MK808, and i noticed that there's some differences from what I see advertised online.

-I don't have 2 heat sinks.. only 1, with some sort of plastic thermal sheet on the other side.
-Also have these 2 pins sticking from the board that touches one of the antenna pads sticking on the back.

Yes this is different than mine. I have wires going to both antennas. Those pins on your plug into the antenna on that one cover. I think that is a good thing if you take yours apart a lot as it helps to not break the wire which some have. As for heat sinks I notice only the processor side really needs IG but the other side doesn't really get hot. So is this a newer design or older? Hard to say really.

Maybe.. im starting to think mine might not be a MK808.. Just a few days ago, Merimobiles changed the name to GV-20/UG808, this was after i purchased and received it.

Hi,

i notified everyone on armtvtech that factory was preparing new hw release because of the wifi and heat problem. I never heard of anyone complaining about heat, but they said that they want to get it to 1600MHz.
