Got my Pipo X7

First, maximum respect to GEARBEST... I placed my order for the Pipo x7 last thursday January 15 got my order on January 21. This little monster rocks it is the best tv box on the market. No drop frames, out of sync audio or fuzzy live streaming on KODI.

Do you get no frames dropped when watching 23.976 content (24p) kodi reports a dropped frame every few seconds for me

I would suggest Kodi RC 14.1 There were a few small bugs in 14.0, on that was a specific windows bug that was squashed. Make sure you update Windows with all the current updates and set the power management to "never" when plugged in. If you want a super fast skin that offers more than the stock one, use Aeon Nox.

All I can say is you are very lucky with gearbeast, my friend ordered his a week before you and he is still waiting and has not even been dispatched from the warehouse yet. (Black version of pipo x7)


I ordered mine from geekbuying on the 13th and I am still waiting with them, I have asked when the pipo will be in stock a couple of times. (Also the black version)

I accept it's the manufacturer not meeting demand, but I am hugely disappointed that the presale dates of the 16th and 22nd were not met and it would not surprise me if the new date on there website of the 31st is not met. I am seriously tempted to cancel and get a minix x8 plus instead, as I am seriously frustrated on getting this box on a never never.


It is also worth noting that once geekbuying get stock it takes 2-7 processing days before it can be dispatched (as indicated in an email confirming my order)


Also with geekbuying I noticed it takes 2days + to get a reply to a query and with gearbeast my mate gets his replies After a few hours.


I am not trying to discredit any company, I am just speaking from my (and my friends) experience.
