Hi im thinking buying one of these

RKM MK80 Plus Allwinner A80 Octa Core 4K Media Player 4G RAM 32G*

Are they any good and where is the best place to purchase from. Im in the uk and dont fancy using **** as dont trust anything I buy from there anymore.

I have a RKM v5 Witch is nothing like the RKM MK80 but i do like the RKM brand it is quality..

You can one TV box as you need, PVR, a key to clean up, parental control, 4K, etc.

My new box has a lot of functions, but I can not use them well, I do not need them either.

Sorry but dont quite understand your post.

I get that they are the same pcb. All I want to know is if you guys have done a custom rom for it. Is the rom needed or is the stock rom good enough. Is this box any good. Cant seem to find alot information about it on here. I only really trust you guys on this forum.

A cool thing about the draco & rkm A80 is the can flash a custom rom to a sd card and boot from sd card so you dont have to remove the stock rom if you dont wish too.Look here

I have the stock rom on the device it self & the finless rom on a sd card "PERFECT SETUP", so if want to boot finless rom I put the sd card in & for stock rom I remove the sd card

Ok cool. Like the idea of being able to boot from sd card.

Whats your opinion of the box? Are they any good? I read somewjere about being able tor ubuntu on them aswell

I have the draco & I rely like it very fast & I love to boot from sd card I flashed finless to a 32GB sd card so i have plenty space & like i said i still have the stock rom on there untouched

As for Ubuntu/Linux its still a work in progress i think it will come soon enough, i dont rely much about it look hear
