Download Kodi 14.1 RC or 14.0 release (minor differences)

Genesis is a good program, PM for details

There are hundreds of addons that can do almost anything. I suggest setting up your movie library first, there are excellent guides on the site. All you have to do is enter the video file manager and browse to your storage site either with SMB or NFS, it will auto scrape your entire library.

For example I have a 6TB unraid NAS for my movies and I just point to the share and Kodi does the rest.

You should look at the various skins. Some are pretty nice, others are a bit over the top. My favorites are Aeon Nox and Aeon MQ5. Most skin authors are still converting to 14.x so there are more and more being made available.

I could go on forever as Kodi can do so much, has great WAF and puts most anything else to shame. You can make it as complex or as simple as you want.

Skins I am not into much.

What I was asking is what is the best version of XBMC (prior to Kodi) or Kodi to install on this box?

I have my ZIP files for add-ons and what not ready to go with my setup that I like on Android boxes. I assume they will be and work the same on a WIN box? Pretty sure that part will be the same?

But again I will look at your stuff as I am no expert and always looking to learn more!

As he said Bob just install v14 official or one of the 14.1 RC nightlies.

There is sooo much more to 14 than that mate. You probably just don't use/need the new functions. The interface is also far faster now and much better on lower specced hardware.

If it works for you tho that's all that matters I suppose

AFAIK Kodi 14.1 has some bug fixes for Windows so would be a better choice over 14.0 for the X7.

How to solve the problem

HI, you sound very professional. I have a device, when i got it, it come with many addons. But after the reset, why this addons gone.
Could have some sulotion to fix it?
