To Pipo X7 owners. Your opinions please...

Hello, Would the X7 make a suitable PC substitute for a guy that just does web surfing, email and some youtubes?
What family of PC CPUs would you say it competes with, in terms of "general use" performance?

I was steering him toward an Android device, but because of his familiarity with Windows, I was thinking this might be a better solution.
I could really use your opinions to help make the call.
    Thanks.

I'd say definitely. It's a great little device for those, and also comes with Office 365 for a year so you get Word, Excel etc. which could be useful.

As long as you don't expect to do really heavy processing on it, or watch very high quality video (Netflix HD is fine), then it's great. And the price point is very good.

In comparison to Android boxes it's a massive improvement.

Absolutely. It is far quicker than I thought it would be.
