Need suggestions for a Launcher

I'm building a custom ROM for the PMID4311 based on CM10 but I think it needs a different launcher.
There's a long list of 'em on Wikipedia but I wouldn't know where to start. Any suggestions?

FYI.. I don't want to use CM10's Trebuchet because it has good support for hi-def screens and HDMI output but nothing for the bargain-basement 120dpi screens on our Polaroids. Plus, at 12mb, it's a bit oversized for the 256mb /system partition.

That's actually what I'm cooking into my 'Elektricity ROM'. I was going to try to see if I could get permission for 'Go Launcher' but have since changed to Apex because it's just as likeable for me (plus it seems more responsive).
