QUICK GUIDE TO INSTALL FIRMWARE

First, assuming that you have already installed the drivers for your Rockchip tablet,

Release_DriverAssitant.zip


STEP 1
Make sure that the battery is not low on your tablet and fully charged.

tool Batch RockchipV1.6 is included inside CM11_4.4.4_Surftabe_surftab xiron_10_16gb_ST10416-1AC_2015.zip




STEP 2
Unzip the file CM11_4.4.4_Surftabe_surftab xiron_10_16gb_ST10416-1AC_2015.zip, start the program RKBatchToolV1.6 , and click firmware button, to load the firmware image.


Now put your tablet in flash mode as it is sometimes called, and connect it to the PC.
As you will see in the image below, you will see that the device is connected, indicated by the green square.

now upgrade by pressing the reset button.



STEP 3
Once it is done, the software will send the firmware to the tablet and the process will begin to flash.
you will see on the screen RockchipBatchTool Loading firmware, just leave it to do its work and be patient and be careful not to remove the usb cable or touch anything while blinking.
Once it is done the tablet will be disconnected from the program and boot in CWM.

STEP 4

copy the file utils_format.zip on external SD memory, install it via CWM recovery,Do full wipe from the program utils_format.

Any chance for a -1/-1C version? or can i flash this?

Its not my tablet but my daughters, so i dont want to brick it.
But stock firmware is absolutly useless. Horrible performace and wifi battery drain.

I do not have the 1C and I do not know the differences.
but if you could figure out how to get me the dmesg and logcat of 1C stock firmware,maybe I can help your daughters to have fun with CM11 .

are you sure you have the same model ST10416 "1AC" .
in any case just reboot the tablet in bootloader mode and refalsh the stock firmware .
the procedure for flashing the stock firmware is the same
and check again if you have 1AC no 1C .

Did u check the trekstore site , they have both FW 1AC and 1C FW
the 1A it mean 1AC FW , read the build number "ST10416-1A_20131119_INT" ("A" following "-1"!!). <<<<-- link

To be more clear on this ST10416 1AC , Time ago i flash both FW STOCK 1C and 1AC as is no changes or modifications to the stock fw from teakstor and i did not have any problem at that time.
bot the other way around i can not tell.

Hi,

If that FW worked for you , then the same CM11_4.4.4_Surftabe_Xiron_10_16gb_ST10416-1AC_2015_01_30.zip should work for you since they have the same kernel , but regarding you question running cyanogenmod on your device, you still can update to CM12.1 from here link ,,,all you need is the kernel from your tablet.

How to take kernel and use it,this is little to much for me

And did you do the last STEP 4

you need to read more on howto,, in this forum you can find a lot of useful info . right now i do not have time .
