Pipo x7 with USB DVD/bluray drive?

But I wanted to know if anyone has
Tried a usb DVD drive with the pipo?
I assume it will work with no problem
It being win 8.1, it should just search for
The drivers right?
If it does then I could replace my whole media group
With this box!

Yes it works fine.

you can see the drive you can save to it. But cannot play blurays, only DVD.

No, you can only save to blurays drive or play dvd's. Cannot play blurays. I'very done several tests.

I installed macgo blu ray and have a usb blu ray player and it works fine. Played firefly season 1 episode 1 of the disk fine. I only just got the box today and have only tried one bluray so far but she seems aces.

Aaaand if you install anydvd then you can play the blurays in kodi
