So here is the Updated Version of my Rom.
I have fixed all the Errors that we got.

The Rom Base is Android 4.1 with some Apps from 4.2 Clock.

This are:
G-Mail
Desktop Clock
Launcher
Keyboard

I just downloaded NEOCM10_9G2.7z, please tell me what to do with this ? And what about second link, do I have to download that too ?
Before I only used new rom by using Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.5 and use .img file !!

You need to download the two files for the 9G2, what do you need to do is extract the file NEOCM10_9G2.7z in a folder and run the RKandroid as administrator, connect your tablet in recovery mode and press eraseIDB as per Neomode instructions in the first post of this thread: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...y-Bean-Testing

the second link is the kernel for the 9G2 that need to be replaced in the RKandroid tool prior to flash your tablet, just wait for the tablet for reboot and start playing.

Neo, I used too many different rooms for my 9G2, but without a doubt this is one of the best, good work.

Hello everybody.

I am just trying to flash this rom on my 9G2, but when trying to erase idb, an error message pops up saying erasing idb failed.
I don't know wether I should continue or stop here.

My 9G2 is running Finless Bob's ICS rom at the moment.

Could anybody help, please ?

Hello.

Just flashed this rom (I just had to use RKAndroid tool I already used to flash Bob's rom).

Just a quick feedback :
- after installing and formating "intern" sd card, my 8 gb internal memory is available
- but there is regularly an error message about gmail application, and it seems solved when deactivating the application in the parameters

OS seems to be smooth and really user friendly. Really good job neo, congratulations !!!

I'll post another feedback about this rom after a few days use.

I flashed this ROM yesterday and so far I am very happy with it. It is very stable and smooth, there is a problem with gmail so I disabled it, not a big problem.

have been using this ROM for a few days now and I'm really impressed. It runs so much smoother than ICS. Big thanks!

I also experienced regular crashes of the GMail app, but since I don't use it, I removed it. The rest seems to be working fine. Especially WiFi location services never worked in the ICS stock image and now work for the first time.

the wifi location service works on the ics version to with the snakegenmod version for this tablet. so its not the first one but the second one

Drivers? You cannot change this rom once you have installed it without drivers.

Can you please tell me where I can get them.

Edit: I just had to unistall device and scan for hardware changes and it came up correctly.

NEOCM10 v 1.5 ROM for Arnova 9G2 looks good! Memory question and home window size?

Hi, everybody

thank you for this nice ROM! I flashed NEOCM10 v1.5 for 9G2 today.
Like reported by another user, it said my SD memory is corrupt so I reformatted it.
Reacts very prompt and smooth indeed, compared to my first tried ICS 4.0.3 flash ROM.

However, i wonder why it reports now in Settings-Storage the total 1.44Gb of internal storage (???), and 4,90Gb NAND Flash (???), while physically my Arnova 9G2 has only 512Mb RAM + 8Gb internal SD.
Anybody else can confirm this?

Another thing is that the size of the home window is somehow bit too large, so that it does not fit on the display, which leads to cutting the App icons which are placed at the border.

Also the size of the Widget icons is huge - is it how it should be?

Anyway, thank you for your nice ROM, will try to report more feedback as it goes.

Side note: With my first flashed ROM ICS 4.0.3, from here
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/...page-8/#p11334 I went quickly out of memory as it always installed apps into the RAM (???), which is only 512Mb. - then the device became horribly slow after a while, and moving all apps to internal 8Gb SD did not help. At some stage all the apps I collected were gone for some reason - so now I have nothing to loose anymore and give NEOCM10 a try.

So I will see how the performance of NEOCM10 v 1.5 ROM develops when I install too many apps.
