    Pipo P9 bricked, any advice?

I just recently bought Pipo P9. Very fast tablet and I installed RileyRom 1.9 almost immediately. Seems like a great rom!

Unfortunately, now my tablet is bricked. A few days ago I was installing a game from Google Play Store, when my tablet froze completely in the middle of downloading. After a while I managed to turn the tablet off, but it wouldn't turn back on, no matter what I tried. When I plugged the tablet into my PC and ran the AndroidTool.exe included in the RileyRom-package, there's "Found one maskrom device" text in the lower notification area. Any advice how get my tablet up and running again, or what should I try next?

    curious

Do you think the brick was from the custom rom or was it maybe defective hardware? I'm curious as to why no one appears to be helping you. I know nothing about firmware but like you, I was planning to flash Rileyrom 1.9 soon as I got my P9. do you think there is any chance that rom is the reason for the brick?

I order a P9 from Banggood. It arrived this morning. I removed it from the box, placed it on charge, and it does not boot. It is a brick. AndroidTool sees the tablet but delivers an error message: Match device type failed.

You need to immediately contact Banggood to report the problem. It sounds like a hardware problem.

Managed to get TWRP boot loop on Pipo P9. I have come to conclusion that i needs to be flashed via mask mode method. in Pipo P9 there is Samsung klmbg4gend-b031 eMMC chip but there is no data sheet available which pins you need to short in order to enable mask mode. If someone can help me find needed information.

            Hi jkohtala

Pipo has some kind of button recover, you can find it on there site.Try to press power and the next volume button for at least 50 seconds, connected to Pc and of course Batchtool or Androidtool running to see what happens.

            Please report.

            the pins always 7/8

            nice Day
