Strange But true s89 finless 2.1
Let me tell u a story.I have a tronsmart s89-h with finless 2.1 firmware on it .I have a strange problem witch i cant explain. Lol When i close the electric rolling shutter. my tv screen turns black comes back after a few secs and than its pink. The only explanation i can give is that its on the same circuitbreaker but the switch itselve is in the other corner of the room . Rotten thing is that everytime this happens i can restart the box to get rid of the pink screen. Anybody an idea what could be wrong ?Tags: None

It's normal that switches when opening and closing can cause this kind of problems with other electronic devices, usually either the devices can deal with it and don't cause any problem or the switches that are used now a days normally are well done and they only do very little fluctuations in the circuit.
Maybe you have an old switch or maybe your tv it's not well protected agains those voltage fluctuations or maybe the box itself it gets affected for some reason. Main possibility to fix it proabbily is changing the switch for a better one, but I'm not an expert and i don't know your house so there could be other causes , reasons,...

If you switch HDMI source on the TV and then back to the S89-H, does it correct the "pink"?Last edited by RISCy Dude; 29 January 2015, 08:15.

I had the same problem with my roller shutter but the device that was impacted was my AV receiver - It would turn OFF and ON whenever I flipped the curtain switch.
It is either an electrical surge or an EMC/RFI issue.
When I moved to a new house (not because of this) , also with roller shutters, the problem didn't happen again.
