Bought one the 26th, item page said (and still says) the pre-order lead-time is the 31st, and that the next batch would be there in a week in an update dated the 23rd. Sent an email today to get some sort of update on my order, probably won't hear back for a day or two because weekends. I'll keep you updated if I get any info

I ordered mine on Jan 14th. Paid extra for DHL shipping. Still hasn't shipped. Some people ordered before me and still haven't got it. Check out this thread.

Well if they have problem with quality i rather wait for them to fix it. Mabey a better cooling soloution will happen. Did order a black one the 25th.

There is no problem with quality, it is Public Relations bullsh1t used as an excuse to cover for the mismanagement of obtaining supplies. Please don't fall for it.

Don't want to second guess manufacturing process, but it sounds - to me - as if they can't keep up with demand for the silver model, and have yet to start scale manufacture of the black one as a result. I assume they do them in batches?

It will be interesting to see if there are any design changes to counteract heat issues some of us are seeing. I notice that some of the Baytrail-T Mini PC vendors online are warning about using the devices in confined spaces for heat reasons... My gut feeling is that we won't see a design change - but it would be a nice surprise if we did.

Suspect there may be issues around the correct payment to MS for a Windows 8.1 with Bing + Office 365/12 month non-Tablet licence... However, I suspect MS will also be interested to see a Win 8.1 TV box solution selling, and rivalling Android, so I equally suspect a solution will be found to allow it to continue cost-effectively.

I don't think so, Microsoft Windows 8.1 for the Intel NUC and various other small form PC is already established and making a free or very low cost version to undercut that market would be bad business. The tablet and phone market is an uphill battle for Windows and free versions for those devices is the only way to move forward.

Hello Geekbuying Rep, please inform me upon the exact expedition date for my order #3257978 from 22.01.2015, one black Pipo X7.
If not in stock I will accept a change in color to the silver variant but please proceed with the expedition.
I was willing to accept a week delay but two weeks is totally unacceptable!
If not sent by February 4th I will cancel my order and never order anything from your site again (I was planing several purchases in the near future, now I'm reconsidering this...)

The PIPO X7 is extremely popular and we need a number of it to meet demand ,the first batch had sold out ,now we are trying our best to process them .but we will ship out the package according to your order date .
The factory lack of some material for the PIPO X7,it will be available in the 1-2 weeks ,hope you can wait for it .

I'm going to ask if a silver one would be here any faster, but for now it looks alwaysbless was right about ordering a black one, will probably be a few weeks or more before one ships to you. It might be 3 weeks before I even get one shipped out to me.
