    Btw, instead of pasting those exact lines you should first manually setup your scaling then read the values with :

    cat /sys/devices/platform/rk-fb/graphics/fb0/scale

    It should output values that you need to set in the script.

      Thank you so much for your help! I'm sure this will solve the problem. I'm gonna try this weekend!

          tried...wifi works!but unfortunatly it's really unstable, and sometimes freeze, that's why i was using the 600 mhz shomari kernel with your amazing rom...i know i'm asking a lot, but it could be perfect if you could compile the shomari kernel with the support for rtl8192cu wifi dongle. Thank you again.

            Well that's the thing, there are no sources for any of the stock ROM/kernel and that's why we have to use sources found on the internet. If we would have those sources it would be perfect but that's not the case unfortunately.

                For those willing to participate in kernel development / hacking, here is GIT repository with latest code used to compile current kernel:
                rk3066 Imito kitkat kernel 3.0.36+. Contribute to avionbg/imito development by creating an account on GitHub.

                After required setup (installation of ameabi toolchain), it's enaugh to compile it with make -j4 (or just make)

                You can also use any of the stock / OC kernels found in Shomari thread, for your convenience here are the links to those kernels, remember this kernels don't have sound fix so if you have issues with sound then switch to custom kernel.

                NOTE
                After first boot you need to wait until all applications are installed, since all addons and some of the stock apps are moved to user-space (so they can be uninstalled). This means that after the desktop is shown it might pass additional time until everything is installed, you can use it as soon the nova launcher kicks in as everything will be installed in background thread. There are altogether 34 aps. I would also suggest to limit max frequency to 1500 as its enough to smoothly run everything. This can be done with noFrillsCPUClassic, just change max value and check "Run on boot".

                720p info
                If you are going to use this kernel, you need to make small changes to /system/build.pro
                change density to 160:
                Code:
                #set default lcd density to Rockchip tablet
                ro.sf.lcd_density=160
                You can also force 1080p kernel to behave like 720p by changing:
                Code:
                video.use.overlay=1
                I didn't test all combinations, but this two values are responsible for defining the resolution of the rom.

                Kernel flashing howto screenshot:
                I'm using a Pipo Max M1 and I flashed the v1.1, it doesn't seem to work.. I followed it step by step all i got was a black screen for 15mins not even a logo went on.. Although the backlight is on so I thought it's installing something. I just installed the 4.2.2 again and it's working fine.. I hope you someone can help me with my problem. Thanks ^_^

                    HDMI Passthru

                    Any ideea if this rom supports HDMI passthru?
                    /system/lib/libmedia.so has been changed since 4.2.2 to support this?
                    Please post a screenshot related to the Setting>Audio Setting to see what choices do we have there..
                    Thanks!

                      ethernet support

                      Hello
                      I've flashed my ugoos ug008b with this firmware. It went smooth. Performance is great, it runs faster than my old 4.22
                      I've also managed to get out DTS format from mxplayer (but not from Kodi). MX player is faster than on my previous rom
                      But.. the ethernet port is not working. I guess it lacks the kernel support
                      The chipset is
                      SMSC 8720a 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX
                      Anything can be done for this ?
                      I'm waiting for you in Bucharest

                        Hi, since I don't have ugoos I can only try to compile the kernel with needed drivers for the ethernet port (naming differs and I've got it from http://www.armtvtech.com/armtvtechfo...t=826&start=10)

                        Anyway here it goes, kernel with presumably SMSC 8720a support:

                          It does not allow me to update just the kernel .. I will dig more on this.
                          Edit: I managed to make it work, rebooting using quickrebooter.
                          Great news: LAN is working !!!
                          There is a small problem, after I've put the new kernel the system bar is gone. There is no way that I can bring it back, I've tried to get it from all corners. Also the Nova dock is moved in the left.
                          Every window is quite big.. there is not too much info. ES File explorer also has menus on left-right bot not on bottom
                          Does the kernel affects build.prop? I have
                          ro.sf.lcd_density=240
                          Maybe you patched the 720 kernel?
                          I'm not sure how to edit build.prop since i don't have the rootexplorer to mount the partition as rw.

                              Thanks! If it helps I want to tell you that screen scale setting are also not sticking, you have to reconfigure it whenever you boot. It was not the case with you first ROM (1.1)
                              If it is needed I will post a dmesg output when I'm home.

                                Yep .. that was 720p kernel .. and here is an 1080 variant :

                                Regarding the scale not persisting, there was already one case and I've posted earlier an hack around it. You could post dmesg but I'm not sure if that would help, this kind of issues are very hard to catch.
