MK808B Plus and Screen Flicker with 1080p

My MK808B Plus has an issue when connected to a 1080p screen.

It flickers in and out of a black screen randomly.

If I change the display output to 720p, then switch it back to auto-detect HDMI (1080p) - this seems to resolve the issue and I'm fine from then on (until a power-cycle which requires the same workaround).

    Anyone else have this issue?

I'm seeing the issue in both the stock ROM that came with it and Finless 1.1 for this stick.

Have you tried turning off the auto detect and leave 1080? Only time a get the flicker is when i use an hdmi to dvi adapter in my lab.

      Thanks for the quick reply.

Sorry, should have mentioned in my post that leaving it at 1080p makes no difference - still need to toggle 720p for the flicker to stop - once I do that, things seem to be fine (regardless of whether I choose auto-detect or 1080p)

this happens with certain TV brands, using the original hdmi cable, that came with the box seems to help.

Try this: go to Developer options and select Disable HW overlays

I have the same problem. Brand new LG tv and the factory rom + factory cable with mk808b plus. I tried to play with settings, disabled hw overlays, no change. I've checked the HDMI cable but it seems fine. Does anybody have any idea how to debug or any solution yet?
