N101-1 bricked after flashing original firmware

    N101-1 bricked after flashing original firmware

    OK, long story short, my screen is acting up. In4dealz suggested I flash a firmware update they sent me. I think it's hardware, not software but I decided to do what they said. I would need to get custom ROM off the tab anyway if I sent it back.

    After successfully flashing the firmware they sent me, no boot. I flashed it 5-6 times, no boot.

    Now, when I try to re-flash one of Bob's ROM's the flashtool connects, but when you click any function...erase NAND, Flash ROM...whatever I get an error that says it "can't do".

    I was anticipating sending this thing back to China, but before I do...any ideas to try to get this N101 to boot?

    anyway the stockrom is on the nand now .
    leave it and send it back.

          It is kind of strange, the shipping instructions from In4dealz.com asks that I not send via DHL, UPS, TNT or FEDEX due to customs issues in China. I guess the only one I can use is US Postal Service. They want me to use Hong Kong Post, but since I'm in Arkansas...I'm a little short on Hong Kong post offices in my area.

          Since today is a holiday, I'll have to wait until tomorrow to ship.

            FYI my Yuandao started having a little bit of a wierd flickering screen. I though Ah Oooooo..... Turns out the power supply was failing. I used another one and that stopped the flickering issue!

            Cheap power supplies!
