M8 remote control not turning on device?

Hi all! I just updated my m8 box to current build. Strange thing is that all functions of remote work fine. It will turn off the box but when I try to turn back on it does not turn box on. I have tried several remotes and all are the same I have to unplug the box and plug back in to turn on... Has anyone else had this issue? Any Resolution?

Sound likewake up bug maybe be back can i ask what firmware you are using and is it a m8 or m8n

can you test

1. switch box of switch back on after 1 minute? --- should work
2. leave box for 15 minutes and sswitch back on? --- if the wake up bug is present then it will not turm on

if so you need the app i created called wakeme Scottie.

Hello I am running the above build (20141009 test keys) It is m8 Box. I have looked around for download link on this wake me app. Is it an .apk or zip that I update like the m8 remote updater? Can you please provide link to download your scottie app?

V1.6B MEDIA EDITION FOR EM8 SQUARE 28/12/2014

I was just going to install the above firmware to try resolve this issue. However the .aml is a .txt file when i downloaded I manually changed to an .aml. Will update work ok like this without the recovery.mg?

recover is just needed if you need to go into recovery mode.

also you may experience blank black screen with 1.6b wait few minutes and press the back button on emote control
