[Q]How to block the onscreen keyboard?

I tried null keyboard and some other apps but the keyboard still pops up. also tried an exposed module but no luck either. Freezing the aosp keyboard also removes some remote controls, so this is no option.
This is really annoying...

When you use null input method, you also have to select it as your keyboard, so when the AOSP keyboard pops up, in the notification area a tiny keyboard will appear. Click that and select Null Input Method.
