Anyway of moving apps to SD Card on MXiii 2GB?

Im running short of storage now. Got 780mb left out of the 8gb (6ish available).

Ive got Kodi installed and i guess i can change the settings so it saves stuff to my 32GB SD card thats in the box, but ive also got a few apps/games on there that i really do not want to loose and move to the SD Card if possible.

I have tried numerous apps such as app2sdII and these dont work, they just take me to addons but theres no option of moving to sd card.

Any thoughts or solutions out there?

I can't tell you if this works with the MXIII, as I'm expecting mine to arrive sometime this week, but I always had great success on older phones with very little memory using Link2SD. Afaik your MXIII would have to be rooted to be able to move apps to the SD card.

Link2SD is available on the play store. Like I said it might not work with the MXIII but I've had great success with it in the past.

I think this might help. Use link2sd. You have to first format your sd card into 2 partitions 1 for storage and 1 for your apps. Use this tutorial

I think you all should read this...

It should help to explain why this "Question" (...in particular), or the other vold.fstab (...in another Thread), are no longer possible (as such...), under KitKat, and why its likely to get a whole lot worse under Lollipop.

In short Google has changed the way the External SD (e.g. MicroSD), are used on Android, making it nearly impossible to ~alter~ such files anymore. The ExternalSD is in their minds only meant to host read-only Media Files, and not actual Apps.

So outside of a completely custom Kernel I don't think this is going to be even possible.
As this is also a KitKat thing. It transcends to every Device capable of actually running it.

The MXIII should be "rooted" from the Factory. So that won't be a problem.
As I said above though.... KitKat's the "Problem", and what used to work on "Older Device's", sadly no longer works under KitKat.

Perhaps that App might have been updated since that report got filed last Summer.
I do know that on my Phablet, which is still running KitKat OmniROM at that time, was no longer able to do the Memory Swap e.g. Internal (lesser amount), for External SD (larger amount) storage. And that other Apps that needed "Permissions" had also failed to work after that time.

It might also be worth noting whether your on a Custom ROM (as such... Or, not).
As I'm sure that App2SD Apps don't work, or shouldn't work under stock Kitkat.

I'm on Mediamans newest. Without formatting the sd card into 2 partitions as the link i gave above, it was also not possible to link to the sd card. But doing the steps outlined in my link I was able to link apps to my sd card.
