Problem flashing updates

    Problem flashing updates

    I'm having problems flashing either a back up that I've created or finless 2.1 rom.

    It starts to flash, does bootloader and logo and then freezes after about 14%.

    So here Is what I've done

    I created an image using twrp of my mx3 box all configured as I want it. I am running finless 2.1 on this and my apps.

    Tried to restore this using twrp. Image is on the Ext sd card.

    Get into TWRP, load the image and it starts to flash, get through about 14% and it freezes. The progress bar goes nowhere and it sits there.

    I unplug the box

    Then try to restore the original 2.1 vanilla rom.

    Again using twrp flashes and gets to about 14% and it freezes again so doenst seem to be my image.

    I then locate the stock 112k4 image and copy the relevant files to my sd card.

    Boot up the box and it boots into flash and restores the stock 112k 4 image.

    What is my problem here?

      Your MXIII... Is it the 1G or 2G (i.e. G as in Gig) version?
      If its the 1G you can not use TWRP... At least as such as One might find on this site.
      If its the 2G version... Did you make sure to use the correct version.

      AFAIK there is NO TWRP version available for the 1G version of the MXIII.
