CX998 Wasser 2.04

Hi Guys,

I need some help.

I flashed my CX998 with the latest wasser firmware. The unit seems to work fine except the wifi, wifi is not switching on.

I would like to flash it back to my previous firmware I had, however not I cant seem to be able to pick it up with the RKTool in windows. The tool does not turn yellow or green when the CX998 is connected as it did previously.

Is there a different way I should be doing this?

I moved the post to the sunchip sub-forum but leave a 2 weeks redirect at the beelink sub-forum...

Worst case you have to short two pins at the eMMC/NAND to get to MASKMODE...

I only have this old pcb picture http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post229105 where you see the eMMC/NAND at the right upper corner (the big one), but I don't know which chip it is and so also no idea which pins you have to short (normally 7&8 or 8&9 and the count begins with 1 at the printed dot at the chip...)...

Are you also at the latest drivers (4.1.1) and using AndroidTools v2.3x?

Is the Driver properly installed?
If it is...In your box's "Settings", there's an "USB" option, select "Connect to PC"
Then on your PC, use the "Switch" button...

Here is a Modified version of Wasser 2.05, it works fine on CX-998 except Led and Remote...Wifi is Ok

Best ROM/Firmware For The CX998

Hi Guys what in your opinion/experience would be the best firmware for the CX998?

Perhaps a list of few would be nice.

Downloaded/Upgraded to the Wasser 2.0.5 and still no WiFi, just a message turning WiFi on.

Using the September Ugoos firmware WiFi works fine.

Also the network via cable does not work using Wasser 2.0.5. whils it works on the Ugoos firmware.

Any Idea?
