No av sound

I got a MXIII (s82 chipset, 2gb version). I'm running Openelec 5.0.0. Everything works fine, though when I connect it to an AV-tv, it doesn't give any sound. Does anybody know how to fix this? Thank you!

I am curious, do headphones work when plugged to the A/V jack?
Are you using the supplied cable?

I thought the MXIII had a 3.5mm A/V jack. The A/V jack on my UT3 serves as an audio only(headphones, etc) and as an audio/video output. Do headphones work when plugged to your MXIII? Using a meter or testlight, can you do a continuity check on your A/V cable?
Some boxes require the HDMI cable to be disconnected for A/V jack to work.
Are there settings in the MXIII for audio manager and is your display output set to auto?
I'm sorry I can't help, hopefully an MXIII user will chime in.
