Well i bought it and what i got is an "original" packaging but the screen seems to have a thin plastic layer over it and a small scratch (as well as a little bubble...) may be it is a fake?????
Obviously i removed the protective film

Well no...just the first one. The second one seems to be extremely well glued on it...my fear was to break the screen..i saw a tutorial on youtube but it is for the internal sheet...by the way i don't think that's gorilla glass...I'm always disappointed because China tablets screen material is not glass.

No, 2 screen protectors are installed on the front (don't care about anti glare internal one).
The screen it's real glass, my boss have had a car accident with his cube in the car. He destroyed the screen and I have had the possibility to see that it's glass, no doubt on that!

You are right i removed ot. Now it seems that it doesn't switch on nor charge...used different charger...this tablet is starting to boring me.... hahaha

It is my understanding both the 9X and the T9 have glass screens.

I think the T9 does ...pretty sure ....still using it every day!

Some have said the screen quality was sub-par, mainly because of the anti-reflective layer under the glass. Pretty sure it is there on my T9, but it has never been an issue with me.

I have seen specs and quotes that say both the T9 and 9X use glass, but there does not seem to be anything definitive.

I have been using my T9 without a screen protector now for months, and I use it ...A LOT!

If it is not glass, it is some more tough plastic.

I know my Pipo M8 Pro's screen has scratches, just from use without a screen protector, and there is nothing like that at all on my T9.

Ii dont know. It sounds and feels like plastic to me.
i also removed the thick screen protector when the device had that touch problem.
no scratchesvon mine either but i do hsve a case with cover.

Just a follow up comment.

The T9 is not perfect (none are), but the enormous number of comments concerning the tablet, along with a 'sticky' on it's mods thread...
surely indicate it being a strong candidate for 'King of 9.7" Air' tablets! 😋

My T9 is still going strong. I just realized my biggest concern with this tablet is what I am going to do when they finally stop making covers. I am on my third one, as they all are made of 'faux' leather, and just don't last that long. 😮

Sitting outside on bench yesterday .. lay the T9 to my side... SWOOOSH, off it slides... right onto the concrete! Pick it up. Yea! Again... no damage!

I have dropped this tablet countless times (from as high as three feet, on concrete, wood and carpet) , and the only thing I have had to do was remove the back to straighten the bright band that covers the edge (once only).

The T9 may have been discontinued, but if they ever did a replacement with this build, I think I would have to buy it.

It does have a case, but it is not that robust. This is just a well built tablet. 😆

Hi , I broke the glass of my T9 ,in Italy somebody repair it I found the spare glass , but I open and I afraid to open the mainbord to get the screen coonecto plug ? To replace it teclast p98 4g is a good choice ? To buy an other t9 is not so exciting?

P98 4G in my opinion has the same performance of T9 but a better responding touch (better sensitivity). You can't go wrong with that
